Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Crush and Lovechild swatch.

Crush

These are Urban Decay's High Gloss Lip Color in Crush and Lovechild. I'd like to start by saying I love these lip pencils. They have great color pay off; Crush is a blue toned fuchsia pink and super flattering on my skin tone. It's bold and bright without being obnoxious and has NO gritty gross glitter in it! I hate the 'face planted into a sandbox' feel that lip products with coarse grade chunky-ass glitter have. If I wanted to have the lip equivalent of getting sand in your hoo-haa after a day on the beach, I'd damn sure just pick being on the beach.
Lovechild is another blue based color but it's a medium pink. It's very wearable and casual.

Lovechild

These lip pencils give a high gloss finish, as promised by the product name. Lovechild doesn't have as much endurance color wise because it is a lighter, more natural color. Crush has hours of wear power, but it is intensely pigmented and can stain your lips so you are left with the color and not much shine after eating, and whatever other activities you choose to do with your mouth. Hey, I'm not here to judge. The Consistency is creamy, not very sticky and feels good and moisturizing on the lips.
The downfall with this, and most other soft, creamy lip pencils is sharpening them is a giant pain in the tukas. You lose product with every grind of the sharpener and have to clean it afterwards to avoid cross contamination with colors. I have the Urban Decay grind house sharpener and I've used it for years and it's the best sharpener I've found so far. The large size hole in the sharpener makes it easier of course, but the delicate consistency of the lip color just doesn't have what it takes to stand up to being grated against a sharp piece of metal and come out unscathed. That's the only downside I've found with these pencils, otherwise I say go for it, everyone needs some high level shine from their poppin' lip gloss from time to time, I love wearing a glossy lip in the warmer months.
