I'd like to start by saying I love NYX Cosmetics. They are affordable, quality and have a huge ever expanding line of products. My favorite NYX product that I've used so far is their Soft Matte Lip Creams. I have 10 of them and plan to eventually own them all (and swatch them to share these lovelies with the rest of you. I went to kindergarten I know how to share). 

In this post I am sharing the bright, vibrant, barbie aesthetic color; Addis Ababa. It's named after the capital city of Ethiopia (don't say I never taught you nothin'). I love this color. I love it so hard.

ABH Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Ash

My first impression of Brow Wiz in Medium Ash by Anastasia Beverly Hills I love it, I believe the hype and I want it in every color.
 It's build-able and can look totally natural as well as do overdrawn glamour eyebrows. The control with the pencil is precise with a thin tip. The swatch on the bottom right is in artificial light and the top left photo is in natural light. I'm using Medium Ash in these photos, but I'll end up going with a darker brown if/when I repurchase it.

Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Crush and Lovechild swatch.

These are Urban Decay's High Gloss Lip Color in Crush and Lovechild. I'd like to start by saying I love these lip pencils. They have great color pay off; Crush is a blue toned fuchsia pink and super flattering on my skin tone. It's bold and bright without being obnoxious and has NO gritty gross glitter in it! I hate the 'face planted into a sandbox' feel that lip products with coarse grade chunky-ass glitter have. If I wanted to have the lip equivalent of getting sand in your hoo-haa after a day on the beach, I'd damn sure just pick being on the beach.

Lovechild is another blue based color but it's a medium pink. It's very wearable and casual.

If you haven't heard already, the makeup Company Lime Crime has had a bit of a shady history. I'll just let you google it if you want to get into all that. Since I still like the style and type of product they make I have started looking for dupes of their products and that's where our post starts today.

Le Frou Frou Mascara from NYX Cosmetics

This is the Le Frou Frou Mascara from NYX Cosmetics. It advertises length and volume and I believe it lives up to that on those basic principles. It isn't a drastic, fake lash kind've look. It darkens, lengthens and separates your lashes, but it isn't as dramatic as the ad leads on (but then again that's an ads job). I really love my lashes and think they are great so there are only a few mascaras I've used that I didn't like. The brush is of medium girth, with lots of dense bristles so it's hard not to get mascara on your eye lids and we all know what a pain that is. I continue to use this product until it runs out, and it's perfectly acceptable quality for the price. If you are in the market for big, fat and long fake drag lashes, this isn't the driods you're looking for.
